Seriously though, marriage is not something we are entitled to or have a right to. It is a gift from God and too many of us rush into dating someone who we have no intentions of marrying. Then when we do find someone who makes us happy, feel special and all that other warm,fuzzy feeling stuff, we end up wanting to be mad or upset at each other without working things out the moment a fight happens. I won’t say a majority of relationships end when the happy feelings we have go away, but a great sum end because you either fell out of love, let someone else steal your affections, or just don’t feel happy anymore.

God gave us marriage. not because He wanted it to be something that made us happy, but rather something he was and is in the center of and that glorifies Him. We are supposed to fill the earth and He wanted us to have people to fellowship with and share His love with.

Not so we could define what marriage is and say one kind or another is okay. We didn’t come up with the idea of marriage. God did
